"A year ago I could hardly walk into Dr. Rick Layden's office. In three weeks (six treatments) it was as if it hadn't happened. The arthritis was still there, but the crippling pain from stenosis, degenerative disk disease and scoliosis was subdued and managed. Dr. Layden spared no effort using multiple techniques to tackle my intense pain. The Class IV laser was quite impressive, as was the spinal decompression therapy. With spinal and neck adjustments, heat and electric stimulation, I was able to avoid a scheduled injection of steroids and anti-inflammatories, which was of dubious worth, according to the orthopedic doctor who ordered it. As a bonus, I was informed that I can help myself using a simple stretching technique, which has worked wonders! Amazing! Dr. Layden didn't tell me when to return or how many treatments to take, and if I skipped a few weeks, I wasn't made to feel negligent. He kindly and patiently worked with my aging body. I'm happy that at 78 I am doing quite well. While I can't expect to be "cured", with Dr. Layden's help, there's hope that my condition has been arrested and can be endured."
